Project: The Cross Keys Pub, White Notley
Scope of Works:
Barwin undertook to complete Internal and external refurbishment of the Grade II listed public House dating back to the 1700’s.
Conservation had to be involved sue to the period, listed Building to ensure the excellent workmanship carried out.
Barwin’s Stone health trained workforce removed the external paint using the DOFF system, but whilst removing the paint it cam to light that the brickwork was over coated with a limewash. The Owner of the Pub wanted it stripped back to it’s original state revealing the brickwork.
Barwin removed the Limewash using the TORC System which removed the limewash and cleaned the brickwork.
