Bronze Cleaning & Restoration
Barwin carry out the restoration of bronze statues and monuments when the original patina has deteriorated.
Using techniques such as TORC or DOFF systems, we remove deterioration, oxidation and corrosion. Re-patination is then carried out in the traditional manner to restore the original patina. Finally, we apply a wax coating with soft burnishing brushes and the statue is buffed between applications of protective Microcrystalline wax.
